City Strike Force

An outreach of the City Livin’ Center, the City Strike Force Is a Sunday event at City Church from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. that offers anyone homeless a nice place to hang out and to be provided some personal necessities that are not readily available.

All homeless outreaches take time and a commitment from an outreach team to have a positive impact to be successful in coaxing someone into making a decision to accept help and utilize available services. A great starting point for fostering trust is to create a a sense of value for visitors through kindness, positive influence, and by showing genuine love by compassionate actions.

The City Church Strike Force event provides an orderly process to clean up, shave, and to help maintain personal hygiene. We also provide food, snacks, water, conversation, and most of all, prayer. We also open up our clothing facility for those who need a fresh change of clean clothing.

The City Strike Force shows that we are here to help. We understand that homelessness is difficult, and with some effort and faith, temporal.

If you need a ride to City Church, our bus picks up from 2:45 to 3:00 p.m.:

Our Mission

At City Church, we strive to demonstrate the Love of God in practical ways. We believe that Jesus calls us to be a church that is on a “mission” to help those in our community. Our City Strike Force is one example of an active weekly event. At City Church Strike Force we offer:

Free Medical
Free Clothing
Free Hygiene products
Free Hair Cuts (when available)

In addition, we are actively building relationships throughout the community offering hope and a pathway to transformation. Many of the people we encounter simply want their needs met and someone to listen and care.
